Ending The Day With A Poem.
Family, Nostalgia February 17th, 2008I was thinking of my sweet Aunt Alice tonight, (she passed away just last week)… and suddenly remembered a line from a poem that she used to quote to me. I always loved the imagery as a child:
“And the night shall be filled with music, And the cares that infest the day
Shall fold their tents like the Arabs, And as silently steal away.”
–Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
